SFO has four terminals and they do not behave the same way. Terminal 1, Terminal 2, Terminal 3 and the International Terminal each have their own arrivals level, and the walk from a gate to a curb is not the same in any two of them.
We take the terminal from your flight number rather than asking you to know it, track the arrival, and hold the car until you are actually out. A delayed flight moves the pickup; it does not become a second booking.
How you are met is your choice. A chauffeur inside at baggage claim with a name board, or a car at the curb when you reach it. Both are the same fare — the only difference is whether you would rather be met or walk straight out.

The airport is the easy half. Knowing which of its four front doors you are actually coming out of is the rest.
Terminals 1, 2 and 3. We take the terminal from the flight number, so a gate change or an aircraft swap does not become your problem at the curb.
Immigration and customs make the walk-out time unpredictable, so the car is held rather than timed. A border queue is not something you should be charged for.
Inside at baggage claim with a name board, or at the curb. Same fare either way — say which you prefer when you book.
Going the other way, the pickup is set from the flight time and the terminal, with the drive planned around the hour rather than the distance.
